JHL Contractors Ltd is looking to hire one full time permanent Administrative Assistant (NOC 1241) to join its team.

Business and Work Location: 205 - 6678 152 Street, Surrey, BC V3S 3L4

Terms of employment - Full time, Permanent

Start date: As Soon as Possible.

Wage: $24.00 per hour for 30 hours per week

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduation

Minimum Experience: One year of Related Work Experience

Job Duties

  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines

  • Schedule and confirm appointments

  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages

  • Compile data, statistics and other information

  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory

  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents

  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas

  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems


  • Good written communication and attention to details

  • Ability to multitask, and work under tight deadlines

  • Must be reliable, and organized
