Job description

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determinate specifications and calculate requirement.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes,using measuring tools
• Measure cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lighweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures other establishments.
• Supervise apprentices and other constructions workers
• Main responsability to frame houses

Job requirement

• Minimun High School Diploma
• Not less than two years of framing experience

• 123 Centre Street, Welland, Ontario, L3B 5N9. The location may vary depending to the constructions project
• Schedule of work: 6:30am to 2:30pm

Contract Length: 24 months
