Child care provider - private home

Job requirements:

- Language: English or French

- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

- Experience is an asset

- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and reference required

- Work Location Information: Accomodation avaliable

- Work site environment: non-smoking

- Personal Suitablitity: Initiative, organized, judgement, flexibility, reliablility, effective interpersonal skills

- Tasks:

1) Supervise and care for a child: bath, dress and feed an infant, discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child, prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare the child for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home;

2) Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties: wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, shop for food and household supplies

3) Travel with family on trips to help with the child
