Position Summary

Archer Learning Ltd. (Archer Daycare) is seeking a highly motivated Early Childhood Educator Assistant. This role requires the development and implementation of child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.  It requires providing the children with opportunities to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity as well as observing and guiding the development of behaviors and habits.

Employment Type: Permanent Employment, Ful Time, 40 hours/week 

Salary: $18.00 / hour

Additional Skills: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children 

Children's Ages: Infant (3 months - 11 months), 1 year, 2 years, 3 years 

Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills: 

  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1)
