Duties:

• Plan, organize direct, control, and evaluate the purchasing activities of the Purchasing department.
• Develop and implement purchasing policies of an establishment.
• Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
• Co ordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
• Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services
• Identify vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies.
• Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts and prices.
• Interview and Training new employees and oversee training of staff.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
