General Construction Worker
WINMAR Fraser Valley's dedicated and growing team is hiring for full-time permanent General Construction Worker!
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $21/hrs
Benefits: Extended healthcare benefits (medical & dental)
Hours per week: 40
Schedule: 7:30AM-4:30PM (Weekdays, Weekend, shift, overtime)

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning and contents restoration and moving tasks
- Clean up garbage and debris, remove asbestos and other hazardous materials safely
- Perform demolition tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment, move materials, equipment and machinery to work areas
- Assist trades-persons ie: carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, boilermakers, welders, roofers, painters, glaziers, landscapers, machine operators, with construction and other related tasks
- Clean and prepare job sites
- Maintain clean work vehicles
- Clean and maintain machinery and equipment
- Comply with health and safety regulations: wear Personal Protective Equipment, practice universal precautions, infection control etc.
- Provide excellent customer service with a pleasant attitude
- Ability to work independently when required
- Develop and maintain relationships
- Other tasks as required/as needed
Job requirements:
Education: No education
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience
Language of work: English
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of standing, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Physically demanding, ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time,
Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills
*This position will be required to participate in on-call rotation shifts to respond and attend to after-hours work assignments/emergencies.
