Inspirations Montessori School Inc. (D.B.A Bear Cubs Childcare) is a licensed facility, We are a daycare for infants and toddlers (for children under 3). We provide a loving, caring, friendly, safely environment for your child. We are looking for an Early Childhood Education Worker to join out team.

Position: Early Childhood Education Worker

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hourly Wage: $19.00- $20.00 (Depends on qualification and work experience)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Location:  3530 Colter Crt, Burnaby, BC V5A 2Y6

Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay + Group Insurance Benefits + this position is eligible for BC government Wage Enhancement Initiative

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out learning activities for children that can help develop a passion for learning and provide opportunities to encourage expressing creativity
• Maintain and provide a loving, caring, friendly, safely environment for children
• Lead children in activities in reading and storytime, preparing materials and for recreational activities
• Guide and assist children in eating, dressing and potty training
• Along with observing the interests, needs, and abilities of children, regularly communicate to the child's parents to keep parent updated with their children’s development
• Observe and prepare report for parents or guardians of any learning problems or behavior issues
• Encourage and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, children and parents

Qualification:

• Completion of a college program in early childhood education or a bachelor's degree in child development is required.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is required;
• Previous work experience as an Early Childhood Education Worker may be considered as a good asset, but not a mandatory requirement;
• A clear criminal record check;
• Ability to work in a team and self-motivated.
