Job Title: Baker (NOC 6332)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Type: Full time, Permanent positions available

Wage: $15.20/hour; 30 hours per week; 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare dough for bread and rolls
• Operate equipment
• Bake the bread, cookies and rolls
• Ensure baked goods meet established guidelines
• Make a schedule seeing the type and quantity of product to be baked
• Order supplies needed for baking the bread
• May recruit, train and supervise baking and staff
• Establish strategies to meet plans for getting work done
• Order supplies and food required for preparation
• Keep record of stock, repairs, sales & food wastage
• Ensure that food and service satisfy quality control guidelines
• May take part in the choice of food service staff and aid the improvement of approaches, techniques, and spending plans

Working Abilities and Physical Capabilities:

•           Heavy lifting required

•           Ability to work long hours, early mornings and weekends are required

Language: No formal language requirement.

Employment requirement:

• Completion of secondary school education is usually required.
• On the job training will be provided
