Job Summary:
We are a family of four that loves to spend time together. Unfortunately, we don’t always get to do that since my husband and I are very busy with our respective jobs. I am looking for a nanny who will care for my children as I would. We want someone that has previous experience working with children, demonstrates responsibility and commitment. As a busy parent, I need someone that I can rely on, and that has my back when I need it. My two children greatly enjoy having the company of a nanny, and love to learn from their caregivers. We would love to welcome the ideal candidate into our home and life!
Job Description and Duties:
- Supervise and care for 2 children (Grades:9th and 6th) in the employer’s residence
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the Children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment at employer’s home
- Instruct the children in personal hygiene
- Oversee the children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
- Take children to and from school and other appointments
- Perform other related duties as required
Education, Experience and Skills requirements:
- Secondary (high) school is an asset
- Related experience is an asset
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform the job duties
- Must be able to work independently in an unsupervised setting
- Must be able to communicate in English

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time, Long-Term.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Split Shift:
- Mondays through Fridays: 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Weekends, if required
Wages: $17.00 per hour
Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.
Benefits:
4% vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday
on a bi-weekly basis.
Anticipated Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
