Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Reference required

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available, Valid driver's licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Overtime required

Work Location Information: Urban area, Work in employer's/client's home

Specific Skills: Prepare children for rest periods, and change diapers. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children.

Take children to and from school and to appointments. Supervise and care for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Help children with homework

Target Audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
