Food Service Supervisor
JJ Bean Coffee Roasters exists to honour people through great coffee, service, food, and spaces. We look for a keen, motivated Food Service Supervisor who loves people and coffee and bring a positive attitude to each day at 1904 Powell Street, Vancouver location.

Terms of Employment
Permanent & Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)
Early Morning, Morning, Day, and Weekend shifts
Start Date
As soon as possible
Compensation
$19.50 - $20.50 per hour (may depend on qualification)
Overtime wage of $29.25 - $30.75 per hour if exceeds 40 hours per week
Benefits
In addition to hourly wages, we offer a 4% vacation fee, 5 days of paid sick leave per year, quarterly and yearly bonuses, staff discounts. After one year of employment, all employees are eligible for a medical and wellness plan that enables them to pay for fitness, education, and general wellness courses. Also, after one-year employees are eligible to buy into the company as shareholders.

Job duties
- Assist management in the daily operation and service of café
- Supervise activities of staffs
- Schedule work shifts and establish work procedures
- Maintain records of inventories, repairs, sales and wastage
- Maintain and order ingredients and supplies required for operation
- Train new staff in their roles and provide safety procedures
- Inspect and ensure drink & food counter, equipment, and drink and food items to meet quality control standards
Qualifications
High School graduation, plus one or more years of related experience in food service or completion of a college program in related fields
