Babysitting, Caregiver
Job Description and Duties:
- Supervise and care for baby (1 year old) at employer’s residence
- Feeding the baby on an agreed upon schedule and as needed
- Prepare meals such as liquid meals and easy to eat solid foods
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment at employer’s home
- Responsible for bathing, diaper changes, dressing in clean clothes and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Oversee the child’s activities including naps and play time
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
- Organize and participate in activities such as age appropriate games and outings
- Ensure the emotional well-being of the child
- Take child to and from appointments, if required
- Perform other related duties as required
Education, Experience and Skills requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Related experience is an asset
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform the job duties
- Must be able to work independently in an unsupervised setting

Location of work: Vancouver, BC (Very Close to Joyce Skytrain Station).
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time, Long-Term.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Split Shift:
Mondays through Fridays: 7:00am – 5:30pm.
(Able to work any 8-hour shift during this work schedule according to the mom’s schedule). Weekends, if required.
Wages: $16.00 per hour
Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.
Anticipated Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
