Who We Are Looking for:

- Full time -Heavy equipment technician

Job Duties

• Review work orders and discuss work to be performed with supervisor
• Inspect and test engine and other mechanical components using test devices to diagnose and isolate faults
• Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment
• Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
• Advise customers on work performed and general condition of equipment
• Determine estimates of repair cost
• May repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
• Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions
• Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Those who have strong electrical knowledge complimented with great mechanical abilities or any other relevant field involving automotive or heavy equipment repairs are the skilled people we are looking for to train to join our team as a Forklift Technician to service the GTA.

Regular work week Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

- High/Secondary School 

- Positive attitude

- Phenomenal communication skills

- Portray professional conduct at all times

- Excellent people skills

What we offer

- Higher than industry standard wages - $25 per hr for 40 hrs per week including benefits as per company policy.
