Monsoon Curry Restaurant and Bar Ltd. is well known for its best Indian Cuisine and hospitality in Metro Vancouver. We are looking for a “cook” to join our team.

Position: Cook

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2                

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: C$25.50/ hr; 40 hours per week

Language: Basic English, not mandatory

Location: 3466 Cambie street Vancouver BC V5Z2W8

Experience: At least 2 years experience as a cook.

Cook (NOC 6322) will have to perform all of these duties:

• Be able to cook complete meals and individual dishes as per the menu.
• Skilled in North Indian Cuisine.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers and oversee the kitchen operations.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean the kitchen and work area after completing the task.
• Assist in planning menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies as per the requirement of the employer.
• Assist in hiring and training kitchen staff.
• May, cook, set up and oversee catering orders.
• Coordinate with the other kitchen staff and helpers.

Additional Skills:

Must have at least secondary school qualification, Candidate must be reliable and have a passion for cooking.
