Job Description:

• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to clients’ physical features or identify style from client’s preferences and instructions.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair using professional equipment.
• Wash and rinse clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners.
• Provide basic treatment or advice clients’ on beauty care treatments by analyzing clients’ hair and scalp condition.
• Clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
• Apply hair extensions.
• Perform receptionist duties.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers.

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Several years of related experience
