General Construction Supervisor

Monarch Paving Ltd” is specialized in small to medium sized asphalt paving project and located at 93004-5331 Headland Drive, West Vancouver, British Columbia - V7W 3G4

We are looking for One (1) full-time General Construction Supervisor NOC (7302) to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35.00 per hour, 40 hours/week

Benefits: As per BC employment standards act + 4% Vacation pay on each schedule pay cheque.

Qualification:

Completion of High School is required. Any further related degree or trade certification would be an asset.
More than 3 years of experience in related field is required.
English


Position Description:

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for following project plans and schedules to ensure the crew under their direction perform daily and weekly activities to meet job build goals in a safe, efficient and productive manner.

Job Duties:

Setup and maintain construction project files.
Prepare construction sites and workers progress reports on day-to-day basis.
Estimate the cost of construction project or orders
Provide work training to new workers if required.
Hire and supervise activities of workers
Track, follow up and expedite construction material to job site.
Responsible for purchase order control, management and maintenance.
Resolve work problems and make good relations with clients for better business.
Perform additional duties as required.
Make sure all works should be performed as per safety procedures.


Work Location: Required to work at various sites as per the business contracts.
