Wage Rate: $16.25 per Hour, 40 hours per week.   

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Anytime, Day, Evening or Night Shift

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Language: Basic English is required

Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduate certificate

Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of experience as cook is required.

Work Location: 5494 Salt Lane Langley, B.C., V3W 5C7
Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook full course meals.
• Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods.
• Plan menu and ensure quality of food and determine portion sizes.
• Estimate food requirements and costs, monitor and order supplies.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Inspect kitchen and food service area.
• Train staff in cooking, preparation, and handling food.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Manage kitchen operations.

 

Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer as well as the first three months
of medical insurance, if required. Free meal during working hours.

 

Work Setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day, evening or on weekends, if required.

 

Other: Candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
