Wages: $25 per hour for 40 hours per week

Benefits:

• Accommodation will be provided at $30/week (if required)
• Relocation expenses and private health insurance covered by the employer until the worker is covered by the appropriate provincial health insurance plan.
• Transportation facility will be provided to the workers from their residence to the farm by the employer (if required)
• Benefits as per Employment Standards Act (Vacation Pay 4% of gross salary will be paid on each scheduled payday)

Job duties:

• Manage overall operation of farm
• Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
• Establish marketing programs
• Maintain financial and production records
• Purchase machinery, and other supplies
• Organize and co-ordinate planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities
• Recruit, hire and supervise staff 
• Perform general farm duties

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching and kneeling

Personal Suitability: Judgement, team player, organized and excellent oral communication

Employment Requirements:

• Basic English required
• Secondary high school required
• 1-year of Experience required
