Elderly Care Giver

Dhaliwal family residing in Brampton, Ontario, is looking for an understanding, loving, energetic, caring and active caregiver for their parents who are septuagenarian.

Job Title: Elderly Care Giver

Position: Permanent, Full-Time 40 hours/ week.

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) school Graduate Certification

Experience: 7 to 12 months.

Wage: C$ 20/hour

Work Site Environment: Non-Smoking

Work Location: Employer’s home in Brampton, ON, L7Z 2R7

Specific Skills

• Take full responsibility for the home in the absence of the employer.
• Keep full care of sanitation and hygiene.
• Help in light physical activities exercises and walking.
• Provide companionship by talking and helping in socialization.
• Give medicines in time as prescribed by the doctor.
• Prepare nutritious meals and special diets as prescribed by the doctor.
• May need to accompany the elderly to the doctor’s visit.
• Inform the employer if anything unusual is found in their behaviour or talks.
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, making beds and garbage removal.
