Job Description:

Total Restoration Services is the Okanagan’s leading sole-focus disaster restoration company with 24 hours a day 7 days a week services. We service insurance companies, brokers, property managers, risk managers, business owners, and homeowners. With offices in Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, and Salmon Arm, we supply the most complete and expert disaster restoration available in the Okanagan by using the latest technologies and state-of-the-art restoration techniques.

 

Total Restoration Services is looking for a Restoration Carpenter who can efficiently assist in the daily operations of our business in our Vernon location.

 

Main Duties include:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof system

• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

 

Employment Requirements:

-          Minimum 1-2 years of experience

-          Completion of High School (Secondary School)
