Job Description:
Banner Recreation and Marine provides premium brands and services, executed by exceptional people that are industry trained. We pride ourselves in providing sales, parts, and services. We are the largest Sea-Doo dealer in the province and have the largest indoor showroom for BRP products in the province. We service all makes and models.
Banner Recreation and Marine is looking for a Small Engine Mechanic who can efficiently assist in the daily operations of our business. Work will be done on: motorboats, outboard motors, gasoline-powered equipment and marine engines.
Main Duties include:
- Inspect and test engines and motors to diagnose and isolate faults
- Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Estimate repair costs
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of High School
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic required
