Assistant Manager

• Start date: ASAP
• Pay rate: $30.5/hrs
• Benefits: Extended health Care
• Hours per week: 35, may have to work overtime if needed.
• Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays
• Location: 1798 W. Georgia St., Vancouver, BC

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Mentoring and motivating team members to help drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service
• Acting as the liaison between customers, sales, mechanic and velvet team and management team
• Support ongoing performance management of the team
• Creating and monitoring mechanic, valet and cashier's operations schedule
• Managing the overall workflow of the team
• Ensure all elements of the Spokes experience meet or exceed customer expectations
• Manage and solve any customer situation that comes up, including theft, damage, and injury and escalate it to the manager if needed
• Working with the manager to deliver promotional programs
• Ability to execute any transaction and troubleshoot transaction issues as they arise
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment
• Assist in developing and implementing of schedules and procedures for safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices
• Coordinate daily customer service operations
• Staying up-to-date with detailed knowledge on new and existing products

Job requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service/sales or in the bike rental industry
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication in English
• Proficient in MS Office
