Position: Event Planner (NOC: 1226)

Job Description:

– Charge of execution of corporate events to amplify our brand story and image at national and internal events, user conferences, customer advisory board meetings and other large-scale events.
– Provide guidance, advice, and support to the company to coordinated services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for VIPs, conference and other facilities, etc.
– Conduct market research and evaluation to understand regional and account opportunities to target at events
– Proactively manage and strategize all event needs. End-to-end event management, from lead-handling and support with content creation to venue selection and event execution.
– Set the marketing direction and build impactful campaigns to activate and engage with the customers at events.
– Communicate and educate the teams regarding new and planned activities and events including global, regional, and local programs
– Establish event goals and budget: gather and track ROI, engagement analytics, and feedback to consistently assess and implement opportunities for improvement. Present your results in weekly, monthly and quarterly business review meetings to process participants and stakeholders
– Develop pre-event, at-event, and post-event marketing plans in conjunction with product marketing, content, partner, and demand generation teams.
– Advance, maintain, and manage external partners and vendors for multiple events and swag, including negotiating optimal terms.
– Partner with internal cross-functional teams and other departmental teams to create event agendas, campaigns, and content that meet engagement targets.
– Oversee creation of event communications and promotion for event programs, in partnership with demand generation and sales development teams to drive attendance.
– Develop and deliver event enablement to include pre-event briefings, at-event briefings, and drive post-event follow-up briefings and event retrospectives.


Terms: Permanent, Full-Time

Wage: $57.69 hourly for 40 hours per week

Benefit: Vacation pay of 4% and extended medical insurance after 1 year of full-time employment + up to 50% annual bonus


– Education: High School

– Experience: 2-3 years or more experience in the related field

– Language: Speak English, Read English, and Write English
