We are currently seeking 2 full-time professionals for the “Painter” position for our growing team who are dedicated to their work.

Salary: $25.00 (CAD)/hour

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 2

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work location: Various locations in Vancouver Island (BC) area, as per company’s contracts with its clients

 

Job Duties

•  Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work and material necessary.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
• Advise customers on colors schemes and choice of wall coverings.
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
• Mix paint to desired color and texture.

 

 Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

•  Completion of high School
• Completion of apprenticeship program or Minimum 3 years of work experience in the trade
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision, personal integrity, and sense of responsibility
• Good communication skills
