Wage Rate:  $16.00/hour.  40hrs per week, Overtime will be paid after 40 hours.

Minimum Education Required: High school Certificate will be an asset.

Experience: 7 months to 1 year of experience is preferred.

Language: English.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual foods.
• Assemble food items for customer orders
• Schedule activities and supervise kitchen helpers.
• Examine ingredients and making sure that they remain fresh and safe for consumption.
• Work collaboratively with the Restaurant/Department Manager once orders are finalised.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent cross-contaminations.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work area.
• Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
• Ensure that supplies are adequate by tracking inventory.
• Train new grill cooks and kitchen helpers and guide them to prepare and cook food to healthy standards.
