Arvin Painting Ltd. located in Surrey, BC is currently hiring 2 full-time Painter Helpers (NOC: 7611) to join their growing team and contribute in the success of their business.

Job Title: Painter Helper - Construction (NOC: 7611)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Location of Employment: 13589 67 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 2B8 (The candidate will be expected to work on various locations in the Lower mainland & Fraser Valley depending on work projects.)

Wage Rate: $ 21.00 per hour, for 40 hours per week

Benefits:  4% Vacation Pay

Number of Vacancies: 2

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Requirements:

• Education: No formal education required
• Experience: No experience required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Duties:

• Assist in preparing, cleaning and sanding surfaces
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
    • Mix, pour and spread materials
    • Clean and pile salvaged materials
    • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
    • Perform other activities at the sites, as directed.

Work Setting: Residential, Commercial

Work Conditions: Fast-paced requirement, Repetitive tasks
