Carpenter (2 vacancies)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: $28.00 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Several locations in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia 

Skill Requirements:
- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Languages: Written and Oral English

Specific Skills:
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements -

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools 

Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware - Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls and roof systems
