We (1317028 BC Ltd.) have an opening for the CEO position. We provide the trading of sewing machines and knitting accessories located in the Lower Mainland.

Our company is comprised of professionally trained sewing machine specialists to help customers make their next industrial sewing machine, serger, overlock, quilting, or embroidery machine purchase. We also stock parts and accessories for most makes and models of sewing machines. Whether our customers are a master sewer or beginner, our knowledgeable staff will be delighted to assist them.

The main job responsibilities of CEO are listed below:

  • Developing, implementing, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating, and improving business procedures and policies, as well as organizational activities and initiatives.
  • Formulating, approving, and implementing organizational policies, programs, and other internal campaigns; determining how resources should be distributed, ensuring the right amount of work is assigned to the right number of people within the right department(s); and providing directions and explanations, delegating authority as required.
  • Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all business activities, ensuring they meet the organization’s goals, objectives, and regulations.
  • Overseeing the activities of all major departments, authorizing and organizing the establishment of departments and associated positions.
  • Selecting managers and setting guidelines and standards for personnel evaluations, recruitment, and advancement.
  • Building relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Communicating, motivating, and inspiring middle managers; gaining influence, trust, and credibility within the organization to build and help foster collaborative work relationships; liaising with external companies and other third parties; and
  • Representing the organization, or delegating representatives to act on their behalf, in negotiations, networking events, Public Relations activities, or other official functions.

Employment Details:

  • Position: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  
  • Wage & hours: $64.00/hour & minimum 30 hours/week

 Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other discipline related to the service provided

Several years (3 to 4 years) of work experience is required.
