Whistler Samurai Bowl is Looking for an Assistant Cook (F/T Permanent)!

 

Position: Assistant Cook (NOC 6322)

Position Available: 1

 

Employer: Yaru Sushi Inc. o/a Whistler Samurai Bowl

Working Location: #101-2011 Innsbruck Drive, Whistler, BC V8E 0N3

 

Working Conditions:

• Permanent, Full-time

• Wage: $16~$18 per hour (depends on experience)

• Working hours: 40 hours per week

• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of vacation fee

• Benefit:

• 100% Extended Health Care Coverage
• $50 per month benefit towards Whistler Blackcomb season pass

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook Japanese meals and/or specialty foods
• Plan and create new menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Fill in for or assist the head chef
• Responsible for scheduling and substituting when the head chef is off-duty
• Instruct kitchen helpers

 

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Completion of high school
• At least 1 year of cook experience
• Must be available to work at least one day on weekend
