Job Title:Cashier

Terms of Employment:Full-time/Permanent

Start Date:As Soon As Possible

Wage:  $15.20 (depending on experience)

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week

Job Duties

• Greet customers
• Establish or identify price of goods, and tabulate total payment required using electronic or other cash register, optical price scanner or other equipment
• Stock shelves and keep the counter area clean
• Wrap or place merchandise in bags
• Provide customers with information
• Calculate the exchange rate of a foreign currency
• Receive and process payments by case, credit card or debit it card and issue receipts, and issue refunds
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of the shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and reconcile with total sales for the day
• Ensure there is adequate change in the cash register

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education:No formal education

Experience:No experience necessary will train the right candidates
