Position: Store Supervisor - Retail (NOC 6211)

Job Location: 1375 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, V3V 3E3

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Experience: 1-2 Years of relevant experience

Number of openings: 1

Wage: $22.25 per hour/ 37.50 hours per week

Language: English

Job Description:

• Supervise work of store staff and co-ordinate with them.
• Prepare work schedules and assign duties to the other employees.
• Recruit and train new staff and monitor their performance.
• Authorize payments and the return of merchandise.
• Resolve issues such as supply shortages and other work related issues.
• Create reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personal matters.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as per requirement.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Make sure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness.
• Assist customers with their questions and address their problems and complaints.
• Perform the other duties as workers supervised when necessary.
• Responsible for opening and closing the store as per key holder duties (as required).

 Employment Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School

1-2 years of relevant experience
