Job Description

Currently, we have an employment opportunity for one store manager with have great business acumen and proven experience leading a team to successful outcomes.

Job Duties

  • Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of Mainland Communications store
  • Develop and retain a high-performing sales team that genuinely care about the customer
  • Inspire the team to deliver a superior and consistent customer experience every time
  • Maximize store profitability by overseeing all financial operations, like inventory control, cash flow and reporting
  • Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters and compile the necessary reports for dealership management to review
  • Manage, recruit, hire, train, oversee staff and assign duties
  • Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quota
  • Coach salespeople on best practices
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
  • Determine stuff and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
  • Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
  • Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues

Employment requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is required. A university degree or college diploma in business or technical education or other relevant field will be an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail or wholesale sales experience at increasing levels of responsibility are required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Ability to stay updated with technology
