Job Description:

• Sand, prep and mask the surface to be painted.
• Help in repair cracks and holes.
• Supply or hold tools and materials to painters like paint trays etc.
• Help painters in mixing paints, using the right proportions and color.
• Cover surfaces with tape or plastic to ensure protection.
• Clean the surfaces before and after job is done.
• Load and unload painting materials.
• Help painters opening the pails and pouring them into paint drums to ensure the uniformity of the paints.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work areas, tools and equipment’s as described.
• Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment.
• Perform other work duties as described by painter/owner at work site as required.
• Removing old paint using sandblasters or other painting tools.
• Help the painter in applying paint, and other materials.

Employment Requirements:

• No degree, diploma or certificate required.
• No experience required. Any previous related work experience would be an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
