Pay rate: $19.00/hour, 40hours/week

Anticipated start date: as soon as possible

Position: Full time, Permanent

Farm location: 7075 Evans Rd, Chilliwack, V2R3P5

REQUIREMENTS

Language: Basic English

Experience: not required but having some experience will be an asset.

Education: High school

JOB DUTIES

• Planting, cultivating and irrigating vegetables and field crops.
• Setting and monitoring the water lines.
• Seeding, sowing and ploughing the fields.
• Removing weeds from the crops.
• Tracking crop progress and informing manager.
• Harvesting the mature crops.
• Sorting and grading the farm produce.
• Performing other essential farm duties as suggested by the manager or supervisor.

Candidate may have to work in dusty, hot, cold, rainy weather in outdoors .it also involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling.

BENEFITS

Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer and medical for first three months will be covered, if required.
