Network Administrator (NOC: 2281)

Pay range: $30-$32/hour

Job: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Job Responsibilities:

Establish, maintain, and troubleshoot connectivity (LAN & WAN), maintain servers, network, and workstations
Evaluate, install, and maintain hardware, peripheral equipment and software applications
Monitor and optimize performance of computer system and networks.
Co-ordinate access and use of computer networks
Perform routine network start up and close and maintain control records
Set up, maintain and upgrade website web servers and Operating systems
Provide problem-solving services to network users
Implement internet & email solutions.
Install and troubleshoot data backups and disaster recovery solutions.
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications.
Optimize server performance.
Perform security analysis of computer network performance and quality control.
Provide problem-solving services to network users
Perform other duties, as required.

EDUCATION

Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, Web technology or completion of related certification program
