Job Title: Cook (2 Vacancies)

Term of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (Even though this position is a full-time position, we encourage part-time job seekers to apply as well)

Salary: $16.25hr-$17.25/hr, depending on experience, based on 30-36 hr/wk

Overtime: Overtime will be provided after 8 hrs/ day, 40 hrs/wk

Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay

Work Setting: Japanese Restaurant

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Experience: At least 1-2 years related working experience or completion of culinary program

Job Description:

*Prepare and cook complete Japanese meals or side dishes in our menus

*Prepare and make all the sauces being used for Japanese cooking

*Clean kitchen and work areas

*Ensure food quality meet standard

*Check quality of ingredients

*Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
