Job Duties

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per menu and restaurant standards
• Ensure the food quality is superb every time
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Keep the kitchen and work area clean, ensure that utensils, and kitchen equipment is clean and sanitized state
• Always follow safe food handling procedure and adhere to company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• May assist in hiring and training kitchen staff

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education:completion of high school

Experience:2+ years of commercial cooking experience is required.

Note: Applicants with a culinary certificate or cooking diploma will be considered with 1 year or less experience

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, stand for extended periods, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
