Welder

GOLD LINK HOMES LTD. located at 12935 Helston Cr., Surrey, BC, V3V 6T6 is currently looking for 3 WELDERS to join their team as soon as possible.

Full-time, Permanent position @$28 / hour for 40 hours/week with 4% Vacation pay as BC’s Employment Standards. Various work locations as per company’s contracts. English is the required language. 1 to 2 years of experience and completion of high school is required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Hand-eye-co-ordination, attention detail, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods.

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.

Job duties:

Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications

Setting up components for welding as per specifications

Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements

Determining weldability of materials

Operating manual and automatic equipment for welding and shaping metal

Repairing worn metal products by welding on extra layers

Maintaining and repairing equipment
