Plumber

GOLD LINK HOMES LTD. located at 12935 Helston Cr., Surrey, BC, V3V 6T6 is currently looking for 3 PLUMBERS to join their team as soon as possible.

Full-time, Permanent position @$26 / hour for 40 hours/week with 4% Vacation pay as BC’s Employment Standards. Various work locations as per company’s contracts. English is the required language. 1 to 2 years of experience and completion of high school is required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods.

Work site environment: Confined spaces, Wet/damp, cold.

Job duties:

Reading and interpreting blueprints and building specifications

Locating and marking positions for pipe and fixtures in walls and floors

Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe fittings

Installing supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation

Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures

Modifying length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building

Testing plumbing systems for leaks and other problems

Ensuring safety of plumbing systems
