General Supervisor-Building Construction

GOLD LINK HOMES LTD. located at 12935 Helston Cr., Surrey, BC, V3V 6T6 is currently looking for 2 GENERAL SUPERVISOR – BUILDING CONSTRUCTION to join their team as soon as possible.

Full-time, Permanent position @$36.00 / hour for 40 hours/week with 4% Vacation pay as BC’s Employment Standards. Various work locations as per company’s contracts. English is the required language. 4 to 5 years of experience and completion of high school is required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods.

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.

Job duties:

Supervising, co-ordinating and scheduling all construction activities

Establishing methods to meet work schedules

Ordering required materials and supplies

Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity

Preparing schedules and other reports

Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

Training or arranging for the training of workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
