Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus and determine size of food portions
- Estimate food requirements and costs
- Monitor and order supplies and equipment
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation
- Cooking and handling food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
Qualifications:
- No formal education required
- Experience is an asset
- Completion of Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Fluent in English
Compensation
Hourly wage: $15.00 for 40 hours per week
