Electronic Service Technician

TIGON SECURITY SOLUTIONS LTD. is a local security systems and communication technology company serving both residential and commercial clients in Metro Vancouver, the GVRD and throughout the lower mainland and is looking for “Electronic Service Technician” to join their team located in Surrey.

Position: Electronic Service Technician

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2 positions

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $30.00 / hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Location: Unit 17 14722 64 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 1X7

 Electronic Service Technician will have to perform all of these duties:

• Install, maintain and repair electronic equipment: security cameras, recorders, receivers, audio & video systems
• Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults
• Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies
• Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
• Prepare cost estimates
• Read blueprints and drawings

Education:

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma of 2 years.

Experience:

2 year to less than 3 years

 Required Skills:

Team player; excellent oral communication; excellent written communication; Organized
