Job title: Insulator Helper

Job type: Full time, Permanent

Construction specialization: We do residential, industrial, and commercial construction projects.

Vacancy: 3

Wage rate: $21.00 per hour, 35-40 hours a week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job requirements:

Language: English

Minimum Education: No minimum education requirement.

Experience requirement: No prior experience is required. On job training will be provided.

Physical abilities: Heavy weight lifting upto 30 lbs (13.5 kg), Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended period of times, repetitive tasks. Physically demanding construction work.

 

Job duties:

• Remove garbage and other debris at construction sites.
•  Load, unload and transport construction materials
•  Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
•  Unpack material and provide tools to skilled person who needs him at work.
•  Help during attic insulation, pipe wraps.
•  assist the insulators to fit insulation in walls and ceilings.
•  Distribute material at job site as needed. 
•  Help skilled insulators at the job site as required.
• Security and safety guidelines must always be kept in mind and be strictly followed at all the times.
• Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toe-cap shoes are must while performing the job duties.

 

Benefits:

Transportation costs to work location will be covered by the employer; Overtime will be given after regular hours; 4% Vacation pay.

 

Job location:

You will be working as a part of the team at various sites around lower Mainland, BC.
