Job Duties:
- Planning, control and management of telecommunication operations in an organization.
- Ensuring the smooth day to day operations of technical deliveries.
- Working on the close lines with the members of technical staff team and engineers for day-to-day technical work needed for telecommunication systems.
- Ensuring the maximum telecommunication system uptimes are maintained and the customers get the seamless service leveraged by those systems.
- Presenting the senior management about any policy or technical system upgrades needed from time to time
- Liaise with the other cross functional in-house and vendor teams in the event of major telecommunication system outages.
- Making sure the compliance requirements and security vulnerabilities pertaining to the telecommunication systems are adhered to.
- Ensuring the growth and progression plans for the reporting team of technical staff are in place and are always discussed with individual team members.
- Liaison with team of human resources for new hiring process.
- Ensuring new hires are mentored well with getting acquainted to organization’s policies.
Security and Safety: Valid Driver’s Class 5 license, clean driving abstract and criminal record check.
Education & Language requirement:
- Fluent in English language; oral Punjabi and Hindi language is asset but not mandatory.
- University degree in science /electrical engineering or related field is required.
- Several years of experience in a related technical profession is required.
