Job Duties:

  • Planning, control and management of telecommunication operations in an organization.
  • Ensuring the smooth day to day operations of technical deliveries.
  • Working on the close lines with the members of technical staff team and engineers for day-to-day technical work needed for telecommunication systems.
  • Ensuring the maximum telecommunication system uptimes are maintained and the customers get the seamless service leveraged by those systems.
  • Presenting the senior management about any policy or technical system upgrades needed from time to time
  • Liaise with the other cross functional in-house and vendor teams in the event of major telecommunication system outages.
  • Making sure the compliance requirements and security vulnerabilities pertaining to the telecommunication systems are adhered to.
  • Ensuring the growth and progression plans for the reporting team of technical staff are in place and are always discussed with individual team members.
  • Liaison with team of human resources for new hiring process.
  • Ensuring new hires are mentored well with getting acquainted to organization’s policies.

 

Security and Safety: Valid Driver’s Class 5 license, clean driving abstract and criminal record check.

Education & Language requirement:

  • Fluent in English language; oral Punjabi and Hindi language is asset but not mandatory.
  • University degree in science /electrical engineering or related field is required.
  • Several years of experience in a related technical profession is required.
