Education and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum 3 years of experience in human resource management.
Start Date: July 4th 2022
Major Responsibility:
- Understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support to management when complex and sensitive questions and issues arise, including providing special accommodations, investigation of wrongdoing allegations, and terminations.
- Manage the talent acquisition process including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified applicants, based on the organization’s current state; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for long-term business development and expansion.
- Research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Create employee programs and initiatives that provide internal professional development opportunities for employees.
- Maintain compliance with provincial and federal employment regulations; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
