Overtime:                                       $28.50/hr (As per BC Standards – for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Observed Holidays:                       As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 holidays/yr 
Education:                                       Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:                                    Experience an asset

Language of work:                         English

Age of Kids:                                     9 Years & 11 Years

Job Duties and Requirements:

• Plan and prepare meals and snacks for the child, along with performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying.
• Support and maintain the child’s daily routine, ensuring a healthy balance of rest, play, and structured learning.
• Assist with homework and facilitate age-appropriate educational and recreational activities to promote cognitive and social development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment with a focus on hygiene and child safety.
• Ensure the child’s overall well-being, providing attentive care and supervision in the absence of parents.

Other Terms:

4% vacation pay as per British Columbia regulations will be paid each pay day on a bi-weekly basis.
