Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Wage Rate:  $17.00/hour.  40hrs per week, Overtime will be paid after 40 hours.

Minimum Education Required: High School Certificate. College diploma will be an asset

Experience: 1 year or more experience in food service.

Language: English

Job Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food,
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation,
• Establish methods to meet work schedules,
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage,
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures,
• Supervise and check assembly of food plates and delivery of foods.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Handle shift schedules for food service workers and assign them tasks.
• Ensure that food items are stores in safe place.
• Ensure appropriate cleaning and maintenance of food preparation areas and equipment.
• Monitor and order inventory and ensure that all food supplies and other essentials are adequately stocked.
