Job Duties:
- Supervise staff members; cashiers, clerks, etc
- Assign staff members to duties and prepare work schedules
- Authorize payments and the return of store products
- Resolve issues, including customer complaints and supply shortages
- Maintain specific inventory and order products and merchandize
- Hire and train new staff and monitor and report on performance
- Ensure the visual standard and image of the store are maintained, such as displays, cleanliness of products on shelves
- May perform key holding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, and signing for deliveries
- May perform other duties as requested
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completion of Secondary School is Required
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience of working as clerk, cashier, retail or in another related field.
Personal Suitability: Team leader, excellent oral communication, organized, flexibility, ability to supervise staff members.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, walking, attention to detail, ability to handle under pressure situations
