Currently, we are hiring 1 full-time Plumber to join our team as soon as possible. Position Details Job Title: Plumber Company: Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating Ltd. Company location: 9931, 122 Street, Surrey, BC, V3V 4M2 Number of positions: 1 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Anticipated start date: As soon as possible Work locations: Various locations in Lower Mainland (BC) and as per company’s contracts with its clients Job Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Communicate with co-workers and other tradesmen. Salary & Benefits Salary: $26.50 (CAD)/ hour Overtime: $39.75 (CAD)/ hour after 40 hours/week Vacation: 4% of annual salary Education, Skills & Experience required Completion of Secondary School Completion of apprenticeship program or minimum 3 years of relevant experience Trade certification in plumbing would be an asset but not mandatory Ability to communicate in English.
