Food Counter Attendant (2 Vacancies)

We, Valley King Foods Inc. o/a Burger King are looking for 2 full-time, permanent Food Counter Attendants. (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants)

Position: Food Counter Attendant

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Position Available: 2

Salary: $15.20/hr based on 33-38 hr/wk with 4% vacation pay, extended medical plan (qualified candidate).

Overtime: Overtime will be provided after 8hrs/day, 40hrs/wk

Work Location: 2091 Harvey Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 8M1

Education & Experience: Not required. But it is an asset

Job Description:

-Greet customers, receive orders, process payments and respond appropriately to customer;

-Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare and package Fast food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, ice cream dishes, milkshakes and other beverages;

-Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons and package take-out food;

-Operate cash register as needed;

-Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties;

-Clean and maintain sanitary environment for guests such as, kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas, utensils, dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds;

-Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used;
